From experimental passion projects to commissioned work for clients, my portfolio holds a diverse selection of creations that represent this dynamic industry. I thrive on creative challenges and enjoy building strong relationships along the way.
I am an independent vocalist and most of the things you will see and hear are of my own creation.. By this I mean I write my own songs along with unique cover versions, record them myself, and mix them myself! I will admit that I do send my work away to one of those translucent skinned men that you never actually see known as a mastering engineer...
Sometimes moulding things and then filming them to create my own music videos, or even a short feature. Im full of wonderful ideas and like to create, it makes me feel as if I'm part of the universe! I like to think that I am experimental artist and that every problem has a solution.

I have been a piano teacher for the last ten years and I also teach guitar and vocals. I use the Rock School exam board if that is what you are interested in or just mentoring if you are in need of support within the music industry.

MP and the B's
A wonderful time was had by all when I (Sherrie Nutty) went down the rabbit hole with Raymond Boyle (Eugenius) and Ian Johnston (The Platters). Making original tunes out of old ones and messing up Cover Songs! We even had the most awesome drummer "Bert" (my laptop). W e had some lovely tea and cake but because of a lack of time between family and work commitments, sadly the project came to a close. I will look forward to the day we can catch up over a cuppa! Bert Over and Out.
Got Chemistry
A duo of myself (Sherrie Nutty) and Nick Balura. In the photo above you can see us developing the band line up to include a dummer, Leeroy Jones and Slav Dracula on bass. I would say that this outfit was an interesting mix of pop and medieval notes some how? We were never quite sure of the genre and whilst recording the first album some artistic disputes occurred and the closed the project.
September Son
Working with Spencer Cox and the Guys from September Son was Ace. They are a really lovely group and keep their eyes on the ball! It was awesome helping to guide in some of the vocal harmonies and helping to achieve the most from their corse vocal tones was a lesson to me in how to teach harmony... they already knew how to do it, they just weren't singing loud enough! I left the boys to explore the world a little. No hard feelings. Love you guys. Until we meet again.
Edinburgh Fringe Festival
Working as an engineer at Edinburgh Fringe is kinda like fitting in a years worth of shows in to one month. It really does equal a years worth of work. I had a great experience doing stage management, sound engineering and learning about lighting desks, in quite a lot of depth!
The Painters Collaboration
Oh what fun was had! Myself (Sherrie Nutty) and the one and only Jakey Zee, Human Juke Box! We would discuss a set on the way to it and sometime improvise the word's live and play as we felt, it was harmonious and one of the most organic musical experiences I have had. I miss you Jakey! Hope we get to do it gain sometime.
Playing Solo
From time to time I do play solo. I prefer to play with others as my vocal performance is always better when I'm not trying to play an instrument at the same time! You may catch me on guitar or piano, but of late I'm focusing more on my fashion brand!
