My Weight Loss Journey

A Long, long road...

Here is a page full of images of myself, very vain, I know, but they range from the very largest I have been to the very thinnest I have been. I think it is important to acknowledge this part of my journey, as it has not been easy.

I have been fat shamed by people who I thought were my friends, and there have been very few who actually ever really cared about my health, be that my mental or physical health. Please see my Yoga page to help you understand my mental health issues and how I now manage them. I mention this here because my mental health has affected my physical health and vice versa, a vicious circle, until I realised that they are in fact connected to one another! Who would have thought that the body and mind are interconnected?

But I digress, this page is here to remind and inspire others that you can achieve the results you want, but it will be a journey, not only into food and exercise, but also your mind.

I would like to thank my personal trainer and musical accomplice Nick Balura for teaching me about how the body works and how it needs exercise and good food. Without him being part of my journey I would not have got to where I am now.

So to all of you who are wondering what my yoga enrichment sessions offer, one of the subjects will be diet and exercise and what changes you can make to your personal routine, but done in a simple and delicate way of talking exploring your mind, so that changes can be successfully implemented to your personally life style. Look at it like this, you can pay for a session and listen to the words, but unless you are prepared to practice and act upon the advice given, no change will come, no matter how much you pay for lessons.

Why not get in touch using the form below if you would like to try a Yoga Enrichment session with me. Or if your ready to invest in your future you can  visit https://www.sherrienutty.com/plans-pricing to book 2 initial sessions for a discounted price.

My Story

So, err, right this may take a while...

Please remember this is my opinion and my personal experiences, I mean no disrespect, if these things work for you that's bloody brilliant in my opinion too!

I have tried slimming world, effective but only if you only eat everything on their plan. Do not stray...

I have tried the Cambridge plan, highly effective. I lost 3 stone in 3 months. Have ended up with a diagnosis of gallstones for it.... Just eat dust mixed with water sprinkled with parmesan cheese.

After you have eaten 200 calories of pretty much nothingness, lets work out with the T25 workout and lose 800 calories.... I did this for 3 months.. the results are actually epic, but I do now have to avoid certain foods that can affect my gall stones... Im not sure losing the weight so fast was actually a good idea in the long term...

Slowly does it people it really is the best way!

I walked a marathon, well half a marathon actually.... got rescued by the mountain rescue team because we were about 3 hours behind the rest and wouldn't finish in the day. But I tried and apparently that is what is important.

What else did I try along the way.

Exercise, cycling, running, swimming, hiking, dog walking, walking to school instead of driving the car, trampolining, roller skating and....

Weight lifting... omg!... best way to actually lose weight and look toned.... but you have to keep going to keep looking good!

You know its actually illegal to call me a fat cow where I live... its known as hate crime...

As people we should be lifting one another up and caring about each other's well being.
